Welcome to our Sunshine Coast B&B

 

As of August, we are no longer operating the B&B, it is now a private residence. We have moved back to the Lower Mainland and now run Creative Home Furnishings.

 

Looking for somewhere to Relax or have a Romantic Getaway?

Our spacious bed and breakfast suite Cedars is perfect for your needs. It offers a luxurious setting where you can unwind, be pampered and take in the stunning views of the Sechelt Inlet.

Our newly built 'barn-red' home is set on a steep wooded lot, and is four stories high. The Cedars Suite is the entire first floor of our home and has it's own private entrance. The many windows, and high ceilings, keep this Suite bright and airy, and enhance it's contemporary country casual style. The spacious private deck overlooks the sunken garden below, and the ocean and mountains can viewed beyond the towering cedars.

 

 

Those who prefer a lighter way to start the day, will love the Cedars Suite. This one bedroom suite is fully stocked for a continental breakfast: juice, freshly ground coffee, Stash teas, homemade granola, a selection of cereals and a freshly baked sweet loaf. It's all there for you whenever you want it.

Close to the town of Sechelt we are an ideal base from which you can explore the coast. There is a wide range of activities readily available: hiking, kayaking, beach combing, diving and mountain biking to name a few. There are also plenty of restaurants to choose from offering a variety of different cuisines.

As avid kayakers we first became enamored of the area during our various trips. Our excursions were blissful breaks from our careers in the hectic hospitality industry, which have spanned Canada and Europe. Our goal quickly became to find a way to make this our permanent home. We were able to make this goal a reality when we built this amazing house, which through its design and surroundings truly embodies the spirit of the West Coast of BC.

We hope to share the relaxing environment and gorgeous setting with you here at A Coastal View Retreat.
